    Will a 1992 5.0 start and run without a MAF ?
    I bought a theft recovery that had the heads stolen and MAF missing. I have it all back together except it is missing the MAF.
    I ran the hard codes and got 63,67,84 and 85. The canister purge has been eliminated, EGR eliminated, and smog pump eliminated. ( no smog regs. need to be meet)
    Now the car will start(easily) and idles smoothly at 1000 rpm for 3-5 seconds and then dies.
    Just curious until MAF arrives.

    Yes it will run.
    No maf is the equivanlet of unplugging one on a car that does have it.
