    I can tell you that I use a program and hardware packcage called light-o-rama (Light-O-Rama. Control lights, music, and special effects.). This year I added 4 of the solder yourself PC board kits. I now have a total of 128 channels.

    I have a few vids up on youtube (search for QuietCornerChristmas).

    So tonight is the last night and it looks like we will raise close to the $1000 we hoped for. We are about $950 right now... :D

    Dang those controllers aren't cheap! I was starting to think of a setup for next year, but I think it may be out of my ball park.

    You only have to buy them once... Basically the software is $100, a controller is $120 (16 channels) and then extension cords and the supporting stuff adds up. I run 2 things through each 100' extension cord but that still means qty=8 $13 extension cords per board I add...
