I was cruising down the highway at about 70mph and suddenly I notice this HUGE cloud of blue smoke pouring from the rear of my car. I slowed down as fast as I could and pulled off to the side of the road to turn the car off. I get out of the car and notice a line of red trans fluid following me and it was pouring out from under the car near the torque converter. I got my car towed to the guy who built my trans and I'm waiting for him to call me or I'm gunna call him in the morning. I'm praying that it's just a line or seal that blew because then I know it will be cheap. Go figure..My 21st birthday is Sunday... *sings*.... ....Happy birthday...To....me....
Tonight at midnight buddy... Btw, If my trans is fixed by then, I plan on going down to island this friday [the 27th]...Wanna meet down there?
Why would a new trans just blow up for no reason while you were cruising. I think if something bad were broken it would happen while you were gittin on it. I doubt it is major.
maybe one of the lines to the cooler came lose and sprayed fluid on the exhaust causing the smoke show
you know what that sounds like a plan. i have to see how work goes, and will try to take friday off. now if i don't get lost again going to island. i'll pm you like wed or thurs to let you know for sure
The lines from the factory cooler could have come loose if they forgot to tighten them down good. Hopefully it was scarier appearing than it really is. Happy Birthday!
