Wow. I just got a quote from my tranny shop to purchase a transgo shift kit, and have them set it on the stage 2 street/strip setting. The guy said they would replace the 1-2, 3-4 accumulators, and change the fluid & filter (a given once the pan is dropped, lol), and install the shift kit. Does this sound about right or is it priced a little high? Does the 1-2 and 3-4 accumulators need to be replaced? Man, for $400 more I could do a t-5 swap. Hell, for $165 more I could get an edge 3k stall.
so it include the price of the shift kit? My freinds Dakota r/t was $300 to install and the kit itself was $110. So this is pretty close to your $450 if it includes the price of the kit.
Yes, that included the price of the kit + the install and the replacement of the 1-2 and 3-4 accumulators.
That sounds about right dude, here, the installation is 200 and if I recall the shift kit itself should be around 200. Seems about right to me.
Do it yourself.. costs like less than $100 in parts plus the cost of the kit (or do it yoruself) and it takes 4-6 hours MAX... not hard jsut time consimeing... my bud got info off of a thunderbiurd and cougar website that we used for his car...
that sounds a little high. My car is supposed to have one but I am not sure if it does. I was thinking about jmodding mine. Also, don't you have an edge TQ? If so is it mild street or or street? Also what is the stall on it? Have you liked it?
Uh huh, that I did. To answer the question though, I had the Edge Mild Street 2,600. I dropped a couple tenths, but go with a street edge 9.5" 3,000.
Sounds like you are referring to the jmod. I'm just gonna wait a bit and research my options a little more.
Man sounds like a total rip, why do u have a blue car in the avatar when u have a yellow car...shoulda go the pimp blue, like i do. U know how I doooooooooooo
