I need to replace my IAC and I am wondering if anyone here knows of a cheap place to order prefferbly a Ford replacement. I have heard of aftermarket brands not being that good.

    Thanks

Junkyard...I've got a few usually they're just full of gunk. Cleaned one out yesterday and when i poured the carb cleaner out it looked like coffee

get one of the newer style that have the adjustment needle. then you can adjust the idle air screw without having to reset your TPS

What vehicles are the newer style IAC on? That sounds like a good cheap "upgrade"

You don't have to modify the wiring harness to use it do you? By that I mean do they have the same connector? My start up idles Been really bad and I was about to swap IACs (AGAIN!!)
