Do any of the supercharged/intercooled guys use an Intake Air Temp. Gauge? Do you reccomend having one on a FI car? If so, what brand, and where did you get it? The "real issue" here is that I have an empty hole for a 2" gauge, and dont know what to put there. In addition to my factory cluster, I have boost, fuel press. and AFR. Any ideas?
I have a few other questions that I'm gonna throw in here too.
What type of plugs are you guys successfully running? I was reading somewhere that the Lightning plugs (Irridium I believe) are reccomended for FI Mustangs because they are 2 heat ranges lower...
After I install my intercooler, is it reccomended to pulley down to compensate for pressure drop? Im currently at about 9-10# and I want 10 after the intercooler install.
Thanks in advance for your help! I love this place! :SNSign:

I wouldnt put one in there. Its like adding a gauge just for the sake of having gauges. Maybe a real temp gauge instead of the stock dummy gauge. That is already too many gauges for me. A boost and wideband afr is all I would do.

Ya, I agree with you, it is a lot of gauges... But I already had Boost and fuel press. above my radio, and then I bought the wideband... So I didnt want them in some crazy place (like the pillar!) so I got the gauge pod that puts 2 gauges in the bottom corners of the factory cluster. So it isnt too obnoxious. Is the factory temp really a dummy guage? or is it just not very accurate?

    I would do oil pressure.

I thought about that too... Are the factory gauges REALLY not reliable?

So any word on the plugs or pulley question?
