Hey yah guys, On august the 19th i am boarding a plane and flying into sanford airport just outside orlando, i am then picking up my retal car (its gonna be crap i know it is) then driving down to I-Drive in Orlando and going to my hotel (the clarion universal, which is straight accross the road from wet n wild if that helps) now i did old town last visist, and hope to again this year, i am also going to Daytona for a day at some point! But i was wondering a few things, how busy are the theme parks gonna be for the 2 weeks starting august 19th??? as sombody i spoke to said all the American kids are back to school?!?!? is this true??? and wot else do you guys reccomend for me and the g/f to do?? we are doing the obvious things like all the parks, down town disney, pleasure island, race rock nascar cafe etc etc but just wonderd what thoughts you guys had? cheers in advance si
Should be a good time to go...most of the kiddies are back in school. I like the water parks myself. Typhoon Lagoon and the other one at Disney. Islands of Adventure is pretty cool near Universal.
You may want to go to one of the beaches, by august that water will be nice and warm. I don't know how old you are but there are a lot of great clubs downtown off Orange Avenue if you wanted some good nightlife.
