it is in myrtle beach SC. i made it down with no problems at all there are already about 9 stangs at my hotel. the strip is already getting packed and it looks like it is going to be a great week!!! i'll have pics up next sunday when i get home. i will try to keep everything updated once a day. the only connection i get is the wireless one in the lobby of the hotel.
Surprize us and come home with a Subaru STI. Maybe next time it might throw a rod right through the block dam Ford's.

well today has been good so far. i did learn that i cant use the line lock as a parking brake. (drained my battery completely dead) i havent really done anything at all today. i hit the beach and pools with the wife for a few hours and we are about to go play some putt putt now. i should have some pics up tomorrow after the meet and greet at planet hollywood.
I really don't see where comments like this are neccessary. We love our stang, have 100k+ and absolutely no problems wit it. Back on subject, we'll be there thursday, a bunch of us are coming down from northern NC. Been there the past couple of years and have really enjoyed it. Maybe we'll see you there, wish we were leaving tomarrow.
i had some really bad luck last night. we were pulling out of sonic after getting a milkshake and i had to get on it to get into traffic. i didnt get over the speed limit but apparently i accelerated too quickly for the local PD. i got blue lighted just as my belt started shredding! i did find out what the problem is though. the belt is coming off the power steering pulley and then shredding. i lost the entire belt about 3 miles from the hotel. i did manage to limp it back to the hotel with no headlights and no power steering before it overheated. i will be going out to put another new belt and a for sale sign on the car today.
Man that sucks...but hey dont let it ruin your week! Just a $50 belt. Definatly look forward to seeing the pics! Oh and yea bad idea about the line lock. Those are only ment to be activated for 60 continuous seconds due to heat issues....your VERY lucky that your LL solenoid didnt burn up!
good thing that didnt go out!!! that would really suck to have brake problems down here. i got some good pics yesterday. there was a good turnout at planet hollywood and even more people cruising last night. i met ryan (BurningRubber) at the show yesterday too. its cool to meet people off here in person!
Hey man, sorry about your luck. Don't they have an 8 rib pulley setup that you could run? That may help with your belt problem.
i have an 8 rib kit minus the blower pulley sitting at the house right now. i'm hoping that i will be puling the engine when i get homw and getting the new one ready to go in
