Depends what kit and what's all involved. Brenspeed charges $650 for the Saleen kit, but I know that's a fairly easy kit and they do them all the time. If that's for a Whipple HO, I wouldn't say that it's out of line. It involves the installation of a GT500 fuel pump.

I do, I'm in Ohio. But Chicago is quite a haul from Canton.

Brenspeed is about 4 1/2 hours from you. I would think you would be able to find someone in Cleveland or Pittsburgh, though.

    mwhite, couple questions.

Intercooled or non intercooled. The cost changes for having to do the procharger intercooler because your essentiall taking the bumper cover off for plumbing the intercooler and intercooler tubing.

900.00 to 1000.00 would not be out of line for intercooled.

non intercooled tends to fall into the 600 - 700 range here locally.

As Glenn meantioned I have been taking lots of side work from our locals. Letting them participate in the install and saving them on average about 300 bucks.

Someone mentioned 750 for a dyno tune? Holy crap, that figure is super inflated. I can put my car on the dyno for 3 hours, as many pulls as it takes to dial the car in for 385.00, now prices are different everywhere, but the rates don't usually sway that far to the North..

    It is intercooled.

"Supercharger, injector, and fuel pump installation is $1000.00. Tune with SCT X3 is $750."
thats what i got from them.

Oh, so that price is including the purchase of the XCal? That's not bad, then... $750 seemed ridiculous for a dyno tune.

As dark mentioned, with the price of the SCT included, the cost for the dyno time is fair.

1000.00 is fair then as well. I would quote 700.00 with a gt500 drop in dual pump set up and add 50.00 for any BAP set up.
