Anyone care to guess what a 29 year old, married, homeowner with a perfect driving record should expect to pay on a GT?

I went to progressive to get a quote but they don't seem to differentiate between a V6 and V8 Mustang...weird.

    Thanks!

28 yr old was married home owner 5 speeding tickets with in the last year
210 a month with usaa that should give you what you'll NEVER PAY ! you should be around 50-90 a month if that... Now do you want FULL coverage or just enough to say your insured !?

Ouch! Sorry to hear about those speeding tickets.

    I'll probably get full coverage.

One thing about insurance is that there are a lot of variables in how each company writes a policy. I have a speeding ticket for 95 in a 60 on my record. I am a married home owner and 27 years old. I bought insurance from a local agency and it costs around 160 a month for full coverage. They tell me when the ticket goes off my record it will go down to 110.

im 22years old, married, home owener with 4 tickets 1 speeding, 1 fail to stop at stop sign, and 2 on my quad. i was looking at 325 a month with farmers, progressive quoted me 235 a month that was the cheapest i could find. however with farmers i put the insurance (full coverage) under my wifes name and pay 90 a month now

If you have a wreck or get a ticket and the insurance is in your wife's name, the insurance company isn't stupid. That will likely be the end of you getting insurance from that company. Most agents who know what's really going on will not sell you insurnance like that.
As to the original question, my guess is $100 to $120 per month with at least a $500 deductible.

Thanks everyone. With what you guys said I'm hoping to get quoted around $80-110. That would seem average ball park.

It depends on where you live and who your agent is. I am a 31 y/o single:D male with no kids:cheers: and more than enough tickets on my record and I only pay $580 every six months through State Farm. I live in Florida so the insurance company really do not want to **** us off at this moment.

Wow you guys that live in the midwest are lucky. I could barely insure a beater here for the prices you pay for your stangs.

Just had six points hit my insurance policy!
02 GT run in with a deer $500 deductible $4600+ in damage -2points
02 GT run off the road car totaled $500 deductible $16,000 pay off -2points
05 GT run in with a deer $500 deductible $3100+ in damage -2points

All this took place within a 3 month period… perfect driving record before hand.
It will be Aug. of 09 before the points fall off my policy. Going through a real dilemma at the moment need a beater car with liability and to decide whether or not to get out of the stang or put it up for a while with someone else (family) as the primary.

And I thought the worst part of the year was over... :nonono:

bummer - you'd better drive a beater for 18 months and change your name to "ponyless" ....

btw / how do you feel about deer hunting?
