I bought one from a guy on SVTP for a great price, it is brand new, never used. What type of screws do I need to put it on? Do I have to go to Ford to get a certain type? He didn't have them.

if it's the factory manifold cover you need longer upper throttle body studs
ford part# W712289-S437 studs qty 2 (be careful not to over torque) - torque to 89lb-in
    ford part# W520411-S437 nuts qty 2

What year is your car? I bought one but since mine is an 07 I already had the longer throttle body studs and did not need the ones that came with my intake.

Yeah I bought one for my 07 and it just snapped on, it came with longer tb studs, but I didn't need them. The whole cover just snaps on over existing studs, it doesn't bolt on or anything. You can take it on and off without any tools.

2005 & 2006's did not come with the cover, they had regular bolts not studs,
I added the cover to my 06.

What strut brace do you have that fits over the cover? Any problems with it hitting the hood?

it's the OEM GT500 brace, I did not have any hood clearance problems on my car, the hood insulator rubs up against brace but no interference with the hood, my friend had a problem with his brace contacting the hood, he put a washer on the back stud under the brace on both sides which angle the brace alittle forward and down giving him enough room to clear the hood.
