ok i love me stang, but i slapped the LFP TB on, and once i got failsafe. is this going to be a problem? re tune and fix? i use this car for work, like 100miles a day, so i cant have it die on me. lemme know what to do, or i will have to get something else.
from what i have been hearing, many people have seen very little gain from the TB. many others have had the failsafe mode problem as well......
You may not like this response but I have shared it with many others. Take that hunk of junk and sell it to somebody on ebay. Unless you are under Forced Induction SO MANY reputable tuners have said that any larger Throttle Body is just a waste of money when it comes to performance increases. It looks good though. Only a few people have ever shared that they gained some power, like the post above, but in those cases the power was only found from a retune not from installing the larger bored TB. I know you spent ~$500 and I know what you were promissed in terms of performance but Im sorry that you were one of those people that fell for it. Take a look around and get some unbiased words from tuners cause you sure dont have to take my words as truth. -Dan
There is so much snake oil in the "performance parts" biz. Like was said above get rid of that thing. It's a fine line between daily driver and race car. Do something like nitrous, on/off
i was told by somebody who dyno's all of the new mustang parts that the throttle body upgrade is about a 1 hp upgrade and the stock throttle works correctly and flows really well
i do like the improved throttle response though. so would it be possible to get this thing tuned so it works correctly, or should i just take it off? this sucks i was hearing good things about it. we did dyno before and after, and it did gain like 12 hp.
