is there a differance??

I have a question, so far noone has seemed to be able to give me a straight answer on.Did the 91-3.8 motors also have a crankshaft position sensor? I have a 91 3.8 motor and I cant find it for the life of me,and all the parts stores dont have one listed. Was it like a year thing they started using them in 94 or something?
