Is this a backfire?

    okay,
    i was arguing about backfires my car does this and i don't think its exactly a backfire...my 5.0 does exactly the same as the car in the vid but my PYPES make sound really tinny so its a little louder of a crackle/pop..
    not my car or friend and I'm not cracking on the video i just need some opinions on this sound in between the revs its(im not talking about camera distortion either)

    Its not a backfire. By revving the engine and immediately letting off the gas you are changing the pressure inside the muffler. Long physics explanation aside, that is the "pop" you hear.
