i have the bbk headers / slp x pipe no cats / magnapacks and i love the sound of my car. It definitely turns heads when i drive around. The sound is nice smooth and loud. When i let off it pops real nice. I love the way mine is. I wanted to go catted x pipe but im glad i didn't and i still passed emissions :nice:. Make friends with someone that works at a shop and get the cats out of there and u'll get all the sound u want. Im probably going to switch my shorty headers to longtubes once i get my clutch/flywheel done. btw at my old job we measured the decibels with a meter and at wide open throttle it read around 140's. So i was happy with that lol

Go with SLP 1s and a catted H pipe. I still think the stock H with SLP 1s is the best sound. Though mine comes close with the packs and catted H.

    :stupid:

There is nothing wrong with SLP, you just have to match them up with the right mid pipe.

LM1s - Midpipe with cats - Sound good
LM2s - midpipe with or without cats - sound good

    LM1s - o/r mid - Sound :ack:

Im partial to my prochamber/borla stinger combo. It definitely has a unique sound that doesn't sound like every other mustang out there, and even on the boards I cant recall seeing someone else with the same set up. Its still a mustang and will always sound like one but it is definitely a little unique. Loud for sure, (sets of many car alarms) and can be quiet if i must (ie. fuzz in the area). The other day a sheriff told me he heard me accelerate down a street, and that he had to have been at least a half mile away... :D Im happy with my set up and got exactly what i wanted. Link to video in sig.

I'm surprised so many people dislike the combo of an O/R X and LM1's. I freakin love it, and think it sounds awesome. This is not to say that I dislike Magnaflow/Pypes/etc. paired with an O/R X, but the LM1 combo is insane, in a good way. That's just my opinion, and I'm going to have my Magnaflows (too mellow, IMO) swapped out for LM1s. I don't think that I should be ban't from modding cars because of this preference. It's not like I'm slapping undercar lights and a ridiculous body kit onto the car. To each his own. :)

You better watch out, mixed breed will write someone a letter tattle tailing on you for disliking something on the internet.

I better pull a mixed breed and write SLP a letter saying he is blabbing on the internet about how thier exhaust sounds like ******.
