well guys I haven't been around very much the past year, between moving out oh the parents place and living with my gf and my stang swap have a problem that turned itself into many small problems and then BIG problems...

so my choice of transport right now is a 91 Pontiac 6000.

well I need help cuz the other day the car just DIED for no reason.I guess it over heated but only for not very long at all. it sounds like it has compression. it has gas and the pump is going, I can hear it sompressing and firing, it wants to turn over but just as you think it's gonna start it seems like it hits a wall and just stops trying for a second then it tries again only to stop dead for a second.

what can somthing like that be?? any ideas please, one idea I'm thinking that can do somethign liekt his would be the Cat. maybe it's broken and jumping around and when the motor gets to pushing some exhuast it blocks up?

    any ideas please. thanks alot

Long time no see man, hop on AIM once in a while Dude!! Anyway, i would check spark, you probably have a bad Ign Module or something like that. Usually when cars just die its spark. Fuel will cause it to run lousy or sputter and die. I would take it to the zone and pull codes, and have the ign module checked.
