a snap to install and they look good - on the fence in the way of protection vs asthetics. tons of coverage as you can see and they seem durable, but quite a bit thinner compared to say an oem flap. Rain is here, and snow very soon ~ hope they hold up.

They will surely save a lot of stuff from getting on your car like road tar and spilled things on the road. Wise investment! I have the Ford molded ones and really like them but am waiting for the day when somebody makes better ones molded and real thick rubber flaps.

I like the CS / GT500 rear with its "mudflaps". So far I haven't seen anything that looks appealing for the stock GT back end.

Ya, I figured I'd give these ones a go. I usually go with molded ones (my Grand Cherokee), but I didn't want them to be too chunky either. The molded style would most definately be stronger. These are a total cinch for taking off in the summer time (I'll use tar remover ). I also thought about having the same problem ur having now with the molded flaps - being S.O.L. for a matching front set

I have the Ford and love them. No problems after two years.
Anyone try anything for the front?

hehehe...........I like the c/s - gt500 flaps too, but seem a lil redundant when it comes to any significant protection. I don't really know wat kind of weather you get in Houston, but with 7 months of rain, and 3 of them being snow, I'll take the big mofo's + I just paid like a 100 bux for em', so I'm not gunna say these fawking things are ugly. The back ones are on the big side, but i'm not going to any show 'n' shines in 40-50 degree weather and rain.

I ave the molded Ford guards on the back and the Jaeger Bros. flaps on the front. I am satisfied with both.

Man you're hardcore, with that type of weather I'm not sure I would have bought a convertible!

I have the ford flaps on front and back...mustang logo on the front. Paint is more important to me mroe than anything on a vehicle. If the paint it junk..its due to poor user use.

Good investment!!! Probably one of the more useful investments you will use...seriously.


People that ask.."are you going mudding" for example...care less about their car than you do yours. Them sort of comments make me laugh. Debris flaps are for strict use, and USE strictly, not for show. DUH... tards.

Which Ford flap do you have on the front? The product description for the Ford, both flat and molded, say rear only.

Here In BC canada our summers are usually great. Topless weather generally starts mid May right thru to mid September (great indian summers)! I actually just had the top dwn the other day.............sunshine, and wearing a fleecy for a jacket. I'll be one of those die-hards in winter.....if it's sunny, that top is going down. Thank god I have a garage now.

I think I paid 70 for the front and rear from Ford, I have the molded rears (which are good looking, and durable) and just flat front with a Mustang logo on them. They work wonders.

Is any drilling needed to attach the front Ford flaps?
Or can you using existing holes, screws, etc.?

I put the CS/GT500 rear valence on mine. The only flaps I saw that Ford had available were skinny little things that would do nothing in the way of protection. Does Ford have something newer out now that gives wider coverage. I have a staggered set on my '05 and need a wide flap for protection.

The molded ones do have two slots for screws but your stang does not so they will self tap holes, I added two more screws to secure them better.
The flat ones had small indent but Im not sure where they screw to on the front but the back they screw to the rear plastic valance not the sheet metal fender.
