i just got my JLT intake and SCT tuner but i have not installed it yet. the directions say to disconect the fuel pump and electric fan fuses before i pluc the SCT into my car. but where are these fuses? how many are there?
That's not actually necessary. It's more of just a precautionary measure, most people haven't bothered. I know I didn't.
The fuses are located in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side. But like Madhouse already stated, you don't have to fool with them. It is just a precautionary measure to keep from draining the battery.
i did it just to be safe. Grab yoru owners manual andsee what number corespond to the two, then yank the relays until your done. They are located in the engine, next to the computer
