Well I copleted the entire trunk and both doors with dynamat extreme. It took me a little less than one whole bulk pack. So, I put the driver's door back together, take a 15 minute drive, and everything is great. I parked and took apart the passenger door, installed the dynamat and put back in the speaker. I turned the radio on to make sure everything was hooked up o.k., and now it sounds like the 6.5 on the driver's side is blown. how the hell did that happen from when I parked to completing the passenger side door? It's baffling?! I didn't have the patience to take the driver's door off again to see what was up. I will do that tomorrow. How annoying!

However, the car is 10X quieter after doing the dynamat. It really does work great!

you know the dynomatting might have set your speaker closer to the cover and the 6.5 might just be hitting that and that could be the rattling your hearing, try prying the cover out abit and see if it goes away
