well i just learned yesterday that this is my last week with my foster kids....by next weekend they are being placed back with the father.....in a way i'm sad because of having them and raising them for over 2-1/2 years and the other relieved because of all the problems i have been having lately with them(especially the oldest)....also since i have the baby on the way this way i can focus on him....i have already decided that i'm going to buy a new mustang in about 4 years and keep my cobra for my boy when he gets old enoug( by then it'll be a vintage mustang )....its something that my father never did for me....my girlfriend asked me the other day what happens if we have another child and i replied i guess we'll have to get another mustang then....lol
My old boss fostered kids for a long time untill he had his own. I have much respect for people who are willing to take on that task and do it well, it's quite the burden.
+1, I don't known what the situation was with your foster kids but I thinks it's quite honorable to take in kids that have had some bad situations and raise them. I really do respect people that can do that. Hope everything works out ok.
well thanks to everyone....it'll be different around here after 2-1/2 yrs thats for sure....like quiet....lol but they are really great my niece and 2 nephews even if i did have problems with them lately after more and more visits with their father....
Hopefully all works out fine, and much respect for what you do man thats very hard to do and takes the right kind of folks to do that. Also congrats on your own getting ready to be born, he or she is lucky to have such selfless parents and a Cobra waiting for them lol.
