Buddy finally had a chance to tune Old Blue, haven't seen the results in person but after driving in limp mode for a month it's gotta be an improvement! Was hoping for a little more but she put down 301 rwhp, guess it's not too bad for a first attempt at programming an 05.

    Mods are,

    Diablo Predator
    JLT cold air
    Meziere water pump
    UPR X pipe
    Home made IMRC delete plates

Most of my turbo parts have arrived so it it will soon be time to start fabbing the system, shooting for 450rwhp @ 7psi intercooled boost and 120 mph trap speeds. I'll post a thread as I start the process, but first to the track in NA form, hopefully this Friday eve.

I am not disapointed, just thought I might see higher #'s. One item I forgot about is that I have 20" x 10" billet wheels on the back with 285 series BFG's so I bet there is a HP or two lost right there as they weigh a bit more than the stockers.

301 rwhp is very good. I don't think I have seen anyone with that high rwhp with only the mods you have so far. Good luck with the turbo install. You plan on changing any of the the internals before adding the boost or with the engine be stock?

Stock motor, limiting rwhp to 450, just want to keep up with the Jones :) . From what I have heard from the local 05 experts the Vortech cars are making 460 - 470rwhp pretty easily, figure it taking some parasitic HP to turn the blower so I think 450rwhp is a safe realistic number for the turbo. Heck my 87 T-type used to make that in street trim, would hope my 3v 4.6 is up to the task. I am using a smaller turbo than most (SC61) and the rest of the components are rated to 650 hp max so shooting for 450 rwhp (530 hp crankshaft) should be safe / economical goal (I'll have less than $1500 in the conversion).
