Just curious as to the noise increase I will experience with an '03 stock exhaust Cobra. Will it be a high pitch noise ala blower type whine or more a air gulping sound like the 4 barrels of old? With hood vents practically over the filter I am concerned about how it will sound. Also, is the K & N sufficently protected from sucking in hot air or is it a non-issue?
You should not notice any noise except with an open hood and the motor running. Driving you shouldn't notice any difference in noise.
