K&N Filter question...

    Come to think of it, if this thing is going to last you 3+ years, I wouldn't have any problem just tossing it and buying a new one. I mean, $40-50 once every three years for an air filter? That's a steal of a bargain to me!

    Sure you could do that, but you'll save more by getting the cleaning kit and cleaning it yourself. The cleaning is easy, just follow the instructions.
    I've done it a few times, now, I can do it with my eyes closed.
