Just started the tear down. The blower should be here wednesday. Here is what the car looked like 45 minutes into it.

And this is 3 hours 45 minutes into it. The heater core lines took me 30 minutes to get off, no kidding!

    Almost done!:

Dyno from Silver State Motorsports (SSM could not get it to run properly so I drove 240 miles to SPANKIN TIME!):

It made 466/431 at ST Motorsports (SPANKIN TIME). After Adam got his hands on it the car drove beautiful and even though his dyno showed less power than the one here in Vegas at SSM, the car felt faster.

:nice: are you going to do a write up on the install? :)

what was the trouble with the heater hoses?

No write up really. I'll take pics though. The heater hoses have a very unique clip holding them on. You have to get the bottom of the clip to click into place and then as you release pressure from the bottom of the clip you have to push the top of the clip while pulling back. If you try to push both ends of the clip at once it will not work. Strange deal, it really took me 30 minutes to get both lines off.

But Mom, I Want One To

Which Kenne Belle are you going with, there are what three sizes now 2.2, 2.4, and 2.8 (in Liters of displacement)? Are you gonna turn it up w/ water/methanol injection or just run premium and retard timing? I keep telling myself I wanna go the N/A route, but that is just my logical side telling my lead foot 'No we can't afford it'(boost). Please keep us posted on the install, and enjoy all that neck-snapping torque you are headed for.

Haha! Ya I caught him up here in Vegas and we spent an hour or so driving around the streets of Vegas with his laptop in hand getting my car tuned a little more.

Maybe going to the dyno day.

I am running the 2.4 Kenne Bell. Torque? you bet! Ya meth is a good idea but at this point I am going to build a shortblock first before I add anymore power. I want a 15PSI street car. Something around 550rwhp or so. Its only money right? Heck with the power I have now my clutch is shot and I only have maybe a week with the blower on it.

    Hi VEGASGT

What PSI are you running from Kennebell? Did you also get the intercooler? What was your mustangs base line prior to putting on the KB? What other additional mods do you have on the car?

481 RWHP is huge....I also have the KB 2.4 with 8 PSI with aftermarket exhaust, stock cats, heads. But I'm not getting nearly that kind of RWHP. I'm also using KB canned tune with the rev limiter curve set at 6,200 RPM

That's why I want to know what you have done to your car as far as extra modifications go.

    Thanks

I am running 10 psi, 60lb injectors (so I can grow into them), axle back exhaust, Kenne Bell cooler. Rev limiter set at 6500rpm. My car ran 481/423 on a Vegas Dynojet and 466/431 on a California Dyno Jet.

All I know is I need more power, a 420rwhp Z06 just pulled 3 car lengths on me from 40-145mph, on a closed course ;)

Looks good! What kind of intercooler reservoir are you using? Did it come with the powersteering relocation bracket?

The reservior is an aftermarket piece for a '03 '04 Cobra, I just made a bracket to work. The powersteering reservior bracket I made from 2" flat stock aluminum.
