    While I wholeheartedly agree with the switch over to Ford, a Saleen would have been a better choice! lol. I like the GT500KR, but some of those mods pictured look just plain tacky, especially the huge bi-plane wing! I always thought that the original KITT should have been a Corvette, what with the new 1984 styling, not some lowly Firechicken. NBC couldn't even spring for a Trans Am, boy how times have changed with the top o' the heap Mustang being the feature car! :nice:

    From what I understand, one of the reasons the Saleen was not used in Knight Rider was that it's likeness had already been taken to be used in the Transformers Movie as Barricade.

    doesn't seem flashy enough like the old kitt but times have indeed changed.

    This news is actually a month or so old now. If you look through all the autoblog pages, people are pissed about them using a mustang.

    It is also been said that ford bought the right to be the knight rider car.
