Well, i got my saleen explorer aligned, figured i'd have them balance the tires again, figured why not, and she was vibrating a bit around 60. Had a friend do it at his shop. Well he opted to balance the wheels on the inside lip only, the machine gives you choices for balancing in multiple spots at once or just sets it to balance just one spot. So i let him do it, he said it would be fine. Wrong, damn thing vibrated like it wanted to rip the wheels off. I had him redo it with the balancing on the lip and using stick-ons towards the star part. Night and day difference. So just get the multi balance or don't waste your time.
I ran into the same thing a while back. Sorry dude, probably should have posted something about it. I have the stick-on weights on the back side as well as close to the "star" as well. You can see the weights close to the front through the wheel, but they don't look bad. They definately help to properly balance the wheel though...
Yeah you can see mine too, but it's a Daily Driver and to be honest i couldn't care less how the weights look, it's not like you can't see them on other peoples cars. I see you have a pro 5.0 shifter, i was under the impression that all the budget cars were automatics, guess i'm wrong yet again when it comes to saleen stuff. Saw one a while back in florida (i'm in NJ) and it was an auto, low price too, like 15,000 with 26,000 hard earned miles if i remember correctly.
