hey guys, i know nothing of the 5.4, i just bought my wife a 01 expedition, and my buddies gotta lightning, he's replaced the stock blower with a kennebell and just has it sittin around, he says it'll bolt right on to my 5.4 expo, anybody agree? anybody know what kinda powergains i will have? this whole idea sparked my interest in switching parts outta a lighting such as wheels, suspension, and front end, will this work also? thanks!
i have no idea. But i do know a couple years ago ford built the "Thunder".(this was a concept only) A expidition with a "lightning" engine in it. Dont know exactly what they did to the engine but try searching the net for it. Ill try to dig up the magazine i saw it in.
Dont see why it wouldnt work. You might need to jack his old computer,intake and the like, but I guess it would work. But het what the he!! do I know.
