i posted a thread about 2 weeks ago saying my friend got a lightning and i was wondering how i would probably stack up against it. Well tonight i caught him in a parking lot.....he has 110k miles on it and i think he has an intake and exhaust.......i heard a bit of an exhaust leak probably robbing a little bit of hp's .......well all in all a good looking stout lightning. Well we head out to someback roads and i agree to race him from about a 15-20 mph roll....we take off and i start to pull about 1 1/2 cars on him....by the time i was at about 80 or 90 i had a good 3 cars on him.....we turn around...same race again and same results......btw i dont condone street racing but i slip sometimes

sometimes i dont even know why i do it......theres just so much temptation out there......but i dont condone it in any way
Double-triple check that exhaust leak.. Could be a spark plug getting ready to blow out of the head.. the 5.4's were notorious for doing that.. Riley
