lights on when cold start

    my 99 seems to have a problem when it gets cold outside and i first start it in the morning the engine collent light comes on allthough i have checked it and it is full just wondered if ther is anything else i should be looking at and or if it is just a falty light

    It's possible that it's faulty, or the float or whatever is in the reservior is faulty. When I first got my Cobra(98)the coolant light came on occasionally even though it looked full. So I added some water and the light shut off and hasn't been back on since. Try filling it just above the full mark on the tank and see if it helps. Coolant always expands when it heats up and raises the level, so if it's going out once it's warmed up, then it's likely that it's just kinda low, (even tho it looks full)... touchy sensors, I guess!
