The fact that people are getting this mad just shows how pussified america has become...

I was merely laughing at his gramatical errors and now everyone seems to think that this is some sort of low blow to the mexican community. Geezus, man up and laugh its supposed to be funny not derogatory.

Hey guys i appreciate the comments, i'm glad you guys see where I'm coming from.

Like i said earlier though, it was kinda my bad to jump at it, its just in my nature now from having to fight against stereotypes and such the entirety of my life. I could've chosen to be the angry mexican guy that retaliates against society, but instead im doing what im doing with my life in hopes that I could change the way other people view my people.

Deftsound, i was more inclined to say something because you routinely post stuff about mexicans and whatnot, which makes me think maybe you're not kidding. Nonetheless, this is Stangnet and we say way worse things here, I think partially because we feel like were among friends, right?

I'm not one to complain about ribbing, and I'm certainly not the guy to cry when things like that are said. I also have a good sense of humor, which allows me to brush things off.

That car could've easily been put together by anyone, of any different race. Having grammatical errors, as well as usage errors, states nothing about someone's ethnicity, but rather their literacy and ability to compose. It could've been a mexican, it could've been a caucasian, etc. Not all mexicans are educated, I agree, but not all of them are uneducated either; same applies to every race.

I'm not trying to contribute to pussifying America lol I'm against that too, I just don't think this is about being a ****. You post things like that on a board that's read by all sorts of people, there are bound to be negative responses.

And, Laser, yea man i know which episode you're talking about lol I picked it up as soon as I read it, i just hadnt posted a "LOL" yet hahaha. I always knew dubya was a jedi :D

    no worries, y'all :D

Yeah, that episode was funny :rlaugh:

I have terriable grammer and spelling :D And have alot of different people brands in me but no Mexican... have some Itallian so I guess thats close.
The reason I heard Cheech Marins voice was because if you read it how it was spelled and punctuated it sounds like Santa And His Old Lady :rlaugh:

Besides, everyone knows all Mexicans are like Carlos Mencia... who oddly enough is not Mexican...

The thing everyone needs to remember too, is that many people had bad experiences with particular races when they were growing up.

As an example, my dad grew up in LA and had to fight "mexicans" everyday after school. They would chase him home almost everyday with knives and whatnot and screaming that they were going to kill him. (yes because he was "white" ) He was one of the only white kids in the school. Fortunately he moved to Texas after around 2 years of school (like 4th and 5th grade I think).

So when he moved down to texas he thought they were all the same and pretty much hated those that he stereotyped....but quickly realized that Texas was clearly different, and there wasnt even graffiti down here lol...muchless gangs and the hate that was seen up there. That was a LONG time ago, and now his best friend is mexican....and obviously doesnt hold that stereotype anymore....but its a great example of how someone could form a stereotype.

Now imagine if he wouldnt have moved, and actually survived through school. Bingo.

Basically my point is that you dont know what people have gone through to form stereotypes....so dont immediately jump on them until you know thier life and where they have come from. If you dont like the thread...dont post in it or report it. If it violates the rules....it will get closed and the poster banned or warned.

This thread is heating up and serving no further purpose.

To all that posted in here, please be more aware of racial stereotypes (whether meant intentionally or not) in the future and within your future posts.

Threads of this nature will not be tolerated. Good day, move on.
