does anybody know a reputable shop in the detroit area where i can buy some long tubes and have them installed?livernois motorsports doesn't seem to want the business because they don't return my emails, and all i get is a recording when i call there.incidentally what brands are good?
First of all F**K Livernois. They're bunch of Douche Bags that are know to blow engines on the dyno. Have Lidio do them for you if you can't do them yourself. http://www.alternativeauto.com/ (586)463-0010
i'll be near lido's tomorrow july 1 and i think i may stop in his shop.by the way, can you recommend what brand headers?i'd like to do it myself but i don't have the necessary patience to do it.i'd rather someone who has done it before do it because they will know the little tricks etc.i'm also considering vt stage 1 cams at the same time.you hooked me up last year with your guy at thibadeau in centerline for the trans fix,and so far so good!i had the dealership put 3:73's in it but i wish i had gone with 4:10s.i also put in steeda underdrive pulleys,accufab 75mm w/c&l plenum and a cold air intake,excal 2 sf9415 with performance tune.the car is much quicker but as you well know, us mustang guys always want more.i'd like to get the long tubes and cams before the dream cruise in august.thanks again.i'd like to see more guys come in on mw discussions for more local stuff.
