longtube or shorty headers?

    i have gt exhaust but i want to get new headers and a mid pipe so what should i got with. i have an 02 v6 manual with CAI, Magnaflow cat back exhaust. what are the differences between the two headers?

    Long tube will flow more exhaust but if you don't have a cam or forced induction you will loose more.

    You are not allowing more air out of the engine so short headers would be fine.

    If you plan on upgrading then it wold be worth the extra time and money.

    aftermarket short tubes offer no advantage over stock headers. go long tubes or leave it alone

    Basically leave it alone without a Cam.
