    Yes, but its not cheap or simple ....

    luckily there are guys selling the kits that include the GT grill, fogs, wiring harness and the headlight switch.

    That's really strange, because I was looking to replace my GT grille in favor of the V6 Pony Package grille w/fogs..However once I compared both grilles ! the tabs that go into the bumper, are in different locations and don't line up..Which leads me to believe that the bumper tab locations between the GT and V6 bumpers, are definitely not the same :shrug:

    there are other ways to make the swap work than by using the tabs

    Like what ? provide some examples, as to how I can install a V6 pony package grille in my 05 GT, other than using the bumper/grille tabs..:shrug:

    there are always alternative ways to install a part not meant for another application. some are acceptable ways, and some are not. if someone wanted to get that grille installed, it could be done. might take some glue/paint/new fasteners, but it could be done with a little thought.

    i have not compared the two personally to tell you how to do it. wait till i finish my idea with my stock bumper cover. :D if i ever get around to it, it will be a one off, made from two different bumpers. :D where there is a will, there is a way.

    (an one off just does not sound right, but a one off just looks like poor grammar--someone help me out with that :D )

    Believe me ! I'll definitely be waiting till you finish you're idea with you're stock bumper cover, because I really don't want to swap out my stock GT cover, just to do a grille swap..However after personally comparing both grilles ! I really don't see any other way, other than swapping out the GT bumper cover in favor of the V6 cover..As for using glue/paint, or fabricating new fasteners are concerned ? let's just say that my fabricating skills, are far from what's considered as being desirable :rlaugh:

    It takes a little cutting not visible from outside to put in the GT grill. I don't know about the pony grill. There are folks on ebay selling kits for both.
    Do a search on this site. The subject has been covered thoroughly.

    The Pony Grille and standard V6 grilles, have the same fastener mount locations..In addition, the pony grille is also a direct replacement for the V6 Mustang..However, I never mentioned anything about swapping a V6 grille for the GT ! In fact, I clearly stated that I'm looking to swap out my current GT grille, in favor of the V6 Pony package grille..And perhaps the subject has been covered thoroughly about swapping V6 grilles, in favor of the GT ? But not when it concerns swapping out GT grilles, in favor of the V6.. In which btw ! I did a friggin search, before ever posting my questions to begin with.. Therefore, if you consider my questions as such an inconvenience ! or just aren't willing to take the time, in supporting a fellow forum member by addressing their questions/concerns, in a direct manner ? then just don't bother submitting a reply at all..And FYI !!! I may not always have all the answers ! But at least, I've never turned away a fellow member, who's in need of both feedback and support.

    <grammar lesson on>

    because one has a "w" sound, "a" is correct I believe

    Basically, if the word begins with a vowel sound, put "an" in front of it.

    "it's an honor to meet you"

    "my what a humorous tale"

    <grammar lesson off>

    :D

    4.0 stang asked about installing a GT grill. I went back and read the first post.
    I did not intend to offend anyone and only wanted to provide information that was requested.
    The first post in this thread asks about installing a GT grill. I know it can be done because I did it to an 05 V6.
    The kit came from ebay. I don't remember the name of the seller. Complete instructions were provided. And that conversion has been discussed many times on this site. That is what I was addressing, not the pony grill.
