Hi to all, I just baught my first 87 mustang 2.3, I only paid $350 for it and I need some diagrams of the engine and some help on the best way to repair the engine. I pulled the spark plugs and cyl 1&4 are black and fire. 2&3 are wet and smell as gas, as unfired. I put a pressure leak tester on 2&3 cyl and they leak out the exhaust. I am figuring on a valve job but want to do more since I will pull the motor. I have never work on a 2.3. I have a fully work 5.0. Now that is simple to work on.

    Please help if you can.

    THanks,

    Mikey

head gasket between 2&3 may be blown unless you are sure it is coming out the exhaust of the cyl being tested, just a thought. guess the head has to come off either way.
