Just got back from florida, and saw what they call love bugs for the first time. They were really bad through alabama. How do you guys put up with them, sounded like rain hitting the windshield??????

They just hatched last week and will be dead and gone soon. They are all over my car all day. Its hard to walk in and out of the house without letting a few in.

I just don't drive my car when the bugs are "in season".

They should be called "HATE bugs" because I hate them, I pretty much don't drive my Mustang during the 2 seasons per year we get them in North Florida. If I do it is only in the early morning hours before those pests wake up!

One thing for sure, you need to get them cleaned off as soon as possible or they will eat the paint bad.

those things were everywhere. I couldn't imagine having to clean them off everyday. when we stopped to get gas in alabama, you could tell exactly where the cars had cleaned them off, lines of dead bugs everywhere. Glad there not up here in missouri!

I remeber how bad it was back then. It must be rediculous if they are worse now.
