Ok, Like the name implies, I am new guy to fooling around with mustangs. I look a look at my lower control arm on the passenger's side. It's appears to be bent a little and so do the mounting bracket that it bolts through is definitely bent. I don't think they are suppose to be that way judging from the other side but I just wanted to be sure. I estimate the bracket that holds the lower control arm is welded to frame is bowed out maybe a half an inch. I don't know how that happened or what's the best way to rectify it.
<crickets> The question boils down to this..... Is the bracket that is welded to the frame identical regardless of side. This one is definitely bent and I can't see how it should be this way. What's the name of that bracket ?
Here is a pic Now the pic I found online isn't my car. And it's a pic from the driver's side but you can see what I am talking about. That bracket is bent towards the firewall and I would like to straighten it if I could without having to replace that piece.
