Lower contro arm bent & the bracket as well ?

    Ok,

    Like the name implies, I am new guy to fooling around with mustangs.
    I look a look at my lower control arm on the passenger's side. It's appears to be bent a little and so do the mounting bracket that it bolts through is definitely bent. I don't think they are suppose to be that way judging from the other side but I just wanted to be sure. I estimate the bracket that holds the lower control arm is welded to frame is bowed out maybe a half an inch.

    I don't know how that happened or what's the best way to rectify it.

    The question boils down to this.....
    Is the bracket that is welded to the frame identical regardless of side.
    This one is definitely bent and I can't see how it should be this way.
    What's the name of that bracket ?

    Here is a pic

    Now the pic I found online isn't my car. And it's a pic from the driver's side but you can see what I am talking about. That bracket is bent towards the firewall and I would like to straighten it if I could without having to replace that piece.
