I would like to get my car jsut a little lower to the ground, around an 1'' or so. Anyone have any suggestions and the pros/cons that would go along with those suggestions? The reason I would like to have the car a little lower to the ground is because I still have some body roll that I would like to eliminate as much as possible. I would even consider changing, within reason, my tires to accomodate a lower car. Currently, I'm running 295/18/35's on the back (I have the options bigger Saleen wheels) and 265/18/35 on the front (I would like to keep this size). Billy. If you want to be able to dial it in exactly the height you want then the best way to go is coilovers in the front and adjustable lower control arms in the back. Otherwise, H&R has the spring for you. It makes the car sit on average 1/2 to 1 inch lower than the Saleen/Racecraft ( Eibach ) springs you have now. It also rides similar. Just a bit more stiff. I have coilovers and adjustables with a 375 lb spring in the front. I'm an old man though so I don't like it too stiff a ride but not bouncy at all.
i went to sportlines (2" drop) shouldve dropped it lower but it didnt really, atleast nothing noticeable...im switching to maximum motorsports coilovers soon
I hope you don't live in area with high curbs and speed bumps. If you do you are asking for problems. I have the stock suspension and can't even take it through the car wash.
