Finally getting ready to lower the Stang. Springs have been sitting in my garage all winter.
Do I need to buy new isolators? Or reuse the old ones?
GT 500 strut mounts....still debating on buying D-Specs or just trying the stock shocks with the new springs and mounts.

    Thanks

I wouldn't worry about it unless the car is a 2005 than you'll need new mounts.

Also, go ahead and do the Tokicos now, you'll be thanking me later !! :D

I bought the GT500 insulators just to be on the safe side. They're 28% stiffer then OEM but with OEM fitment which will help in the handling. So for 68 bucks you won't have any regrets about not switching out the stock units when they pop from having a lowered suspension.

I just reused all the stock isolaters, shock/struts for the time being with no issues. I figure that stuff is easy enough to change out anytime so i'll worry about it when I get the extra funds. It's been about 30k miles since I lowered it.

I was talking to a fellow and he said you will have no problem running stock everything with the lowering springs. It will give you the smoothest ride possible with the stiffer springs IF you are using it as DD...It you are totally trying to increase handling you will want the new shocks too. Just a word of caution i totally snapped off a mounting bolt when tightening them up...Now i need to get new mounts anyways...
