I currently have a busted left strut which isn't the first time. I replaced them a few years ago, and now I must do so again :)

Anyways, I just purchased some mach 1 struts off of ebay for a good price. I paid roughly $50 for the pair which was better than the ~75 a piece that the auto store wanted so thats why I went with these.

Sadly when the struts were replaced the first time, they were done with some cheap gabriel (sp?) struts from autozone so I was wondering if these mach 1 struts would be an improvement at all? They are manufactured by Monroe I believe?

Anyone else put these on

They came in my mach when i bought it, and felt pretty good. But I had some Bilstein HD's from my previous stangs so I replaced them with those. The Mach 1 struts are made by Tokico. They definately are better then stock ford struts. My mach had 30k on it when I purchased it and the struts still felt new.

Anything is better than the current popping around that I have ;) As for the install, I am getting them installed and then getting the car aligned for $25 due to a family member so im not spending much at all this go around for the struts.

I believe i'll look at some shocks after this as im sure they'll need replacing soon also.

I installed the Mach 1 struts/shocks at the same time as my H&R's. So far so good. EPIKGT was there a big diffrence when you went with the Bilsteins on the Mach? Those will probably be my next set.

The Mach 1 struts I have were made by Tokico...or at least that is the sticker that was on them.

You have the same set-up as mine. I'm not sure how many miles I have on them though.

I think the Steedas give about a 1.25 to 1.5 drop. The Mach 1 struts and shocks are just fine for that.
