Anybody know if the head units are the same between a car with the Mach 460 and ones without?

My friend's car was just totalled, and I want to swap his head unit with mine since his is in better condition. But he didn't have a Mach system and I do. I'm just wondering if it's still the same unit with non-Mach cars simply not being plugged into amps; or are they diff.?

Last time I pulled my HU, the faceplate cracked off and now it's superglued on. :D That's the only reason I'm hesitant to pull mine just to take it to the yard and compare.

I cant be absolutely sure, but I would guess they are different. I know when I wanted to buy connectors for my aftermarket headunit, they told me the mach 460 had different connector shapes with a different number of pins then the regular radio...
