Mach 460 Options help

    Just got a 01 'Stang and it didn't have the owners manual. I don't really need to buy an owners manual but I'd like to know what the RDS and the Compression does on the Mach 460. Can someone please tell me?

    RDS is Radio Data System. It displays either the artist, song and radio station OR it displays the type of music (rock, jazz, country, etc.) It works only on FM stations that transmitt the information.

    Compression works on CD's only. It narrows the difference between the very low and very high volumes.

    Do me a favor, set up your RDS and then please respond to my other post on it.
