Does anybody have or has anybody heard gt takeoffs with magnaflow mufflers welded in. I think this is what i am going to be buying within the next two weeks, and i wanted to know if they sound good. The reason i am choosing magnaflow mufflers is becuase I want the deepest rumble i can get, so this is a good choice right?

i have magnaflows with 2.25" pipes. the idle is deep but quiet. they defintely sound different than flowmasters. theyre not as loud, but sound better in the higher rpms and dont get raspy. they also have better performance because it is a straight thru muffler. this type of muffler sounds better with an x-pipe, so get one welded in if you can

i dont have access to an x pipe....i have two options....i can run strait duals with magnaflows from the cats or i can put an h pipe in there, which do you think would sound the best. i am more concerned about a nice tone than performance.

straight duals will probably give you a better tone with a straight thru muffler than an h-pipe. we dont need a crossover pipe because of the cylinder firing order

Performance-wise, no difference for the most part.. unless you can feel a 1 or 2 hp change. :p
