I was thinking of changing out my magnaflow mufflers and putting in magnapacks. How much louder will it be. I tried looking in Mustangexhaust.com, but they only have sound clips of magnapacks with a off road mid pipe, I have a Magnaflow x-pipe w/cats and JBA Shorties.

I would say it would be somewhat louder in tone when you step on it - a more "poppy" sound, due to the Magnapack mufflers (having heard an '01 Cobra with regular Magnaflows and then Magnapacks on it).

I have magnapacks on my 2001 cobra and they sound pretty good at all rpm, sounds like a boat in the water when idleing though :notnice: but over all a nice muscle car sound, i think it was a good investment, until i get my bassani :D

I have 'glasspacks' on a 01 cobra. With the catted Bassani X there was only a modest sound loudness and tone vs 2 chamber f/m. With a Mac non catted H pipe what a tremendous loud and distinct sound under full/partial sound. I think my glasspacks are 90% what magna would be. A h/y speed a little drone but fairly quite.

Sorry, the previous message should have said under partial/full Accelaration instead of sound.

a bit louder than regular mflows, ive gotten many compliments for it. Try them, should sound nice with your setup.
