:bang: It makes me sick to see all that bling bling as it's called on Mustang GT:mad: . I think they have earned there respect as a true muscle car. I own a 1990 Mustang 5.0, 1988 Mustang 5.0 and an 2004 Mach 1:hail2: . I was in my teens in the early 80's in the weed & beer drinking Mustang 5.0 racing era:hail2: and I was saving to buy me a 5.0 not one with 20 inch rims or lowered 2 inches off the ground or that big stupid looking fast and the furious spoiler:mad: . Some things ain't meant to be changed unless your adding more horses under the hood. True 70's & 80's Motorhead.

Hm... I have to question you there. Have you seen the NEW 2008 Shebly "Super Snake"? Because it has 20 inch rims, 725HP(I think, i know its over 700!), and looks better then any other production stang ever built period! Hellz, i think its better then any other modified stang as well! I mean honestly, what could you do to that car to make it better? NOTHING!

    NOW!
I do agree with the wing for sure. The 20 inch rims? It all depends on the car. To say this Fox Stang with 20's looks good would be a crime... :nono: You'd have to be high or really wasted to say this was good looking! :rlaugh:

I mean atleast the owner did it "cleanly". But it is sill "overdone" for sure. I can only ask why when i see that picture

Another one of those; I thought I would share my frustration over people doing things I find stupid to a mustang, I posted out of anger, and thought Stangnet would care threads.

They made up for it by hp. I love this car. When i'm done with my '91 Project. You'll see a thread that reads, "2006 Project: Super Snake R". I'm going to build one identical to it, only more hp! I love that car. I mean just look at it!

HP alone does not make up for weight. Braking, handling and fuel economy are all impacted. Weight is never good for a sports car. If all you're buying the GT500 for is the HP, you're buying the wrong car for the wrong reason.

Then why not buy a 5.0L for $5000 and put $20000 into it? A GT500 is double that price, and has electronic grandma controlling it.

Never said you couldn't. But you won't have a car that is comparable. Have you ever driven a new S197 Mustang. They are a amazing car. Truly

Its a NEW mustang. Its more modern. It drives so much nicer. Have you ever driven one? I've driven a S197 V6, GT, Shelby GT, S281 Saleen. Amazing cars.

I will drive one in a week and a half...I'll be 18 then!

But i've heard that most fox-owners hate driving the s197 after their fox...but i'll be able to decide that for myself.
