Hey guys, does any one know where I can get a new overhead console for my '05. I drilled a couple of holes in the original for nitrous switches and now that I've pulled the nitrous out of the car, I'm getting tired of looking at the holes. I'm talking about the overhead plastic piece that holds the map lights. Please help me. If I can't find a replacement soon I might end up filling the holes with a switch for some ricer lights!

Can't the dealer's parts department get one for you?

it's pricey if you have to get it from the dealer
black without intruder sensor retail $163.42
black with intruder sensor retail $521.52
it only comes as a assembly, you can't just buy the outer housing.

Ouch !! This is exactly why I always look up parts and order them right than if I've got to drill something.

If you drilled the holes in the front part, just get a chrome, bilet, or aluminum cover grom the aftermarket.

    Yes, this.

Depends on where the holes are. You could always cut yourself some vinyl to cover the bottom?

    Cover it in leather.

I like that idea. Can you buy the dark charcoal leather (vinyl?) that matches our interiors? How would you mount it?

Yes, just go to an upholstery shop and they should be able to hook you up.

Just apply some upholstery glue to the backside of it and cover it.

The hole is on top ( bottom?) between the map lights. I didnt think about covering it though. That's not a bad idea. Thanks guys, I can always count on Stangnet members for good advice.

If you cover it with leather, I would love to see a photo.
