I was noticing the other day that my '76 Cobra II doesnt have a Map Sensor. It has a '78 302 in it with a 4 speed manual. Should it have one? There is a wire with a plug tied in with the loom for the pass. side headlight, is that what hooks up to the sensor? Let me know if this is needed!

Well, unless you have an EFI setup in your car, then no, you shouldn't have a MAP sensor. I'm sure you are thinking of something else though. What is this sensor supposed to do that you are asking about?

He's thinking of the ambient temp sensor. It's for your A/C.
