Anyone from here planning on going to this show (27-29 July)? For some reason, I can't post on the "other board". I just made reservations at the Wingate, so the wife and I are probably going to make the 8hr drive down there to attend. It sounds like it will be a good time, provided there is a good turn out. I'd hate to drive all that way and only have a hand full of cars show up. Please respond if you know anything about the show, especially if you are planning on going. The only other Saleen specific show that I went to was the Annual one at the Irvine plant in 2002 (lived in Phoenix at the time), and that was a lot of fun (met some of you there as well). Give me the skinny if you know anything...

Also, I'm going to be driving down from Dayton OH on Friday morning. I hear there are some people coming from further North. Wouldn't mind meeting up somewhere if possible. Sorry to post this here, but as I said, I'm not able to post on the other board...

Hey come on out and join with us on the BIG Drive on Thursday or meet us in Marietta.

There are over 30 pre-registered so we should end up somewhere over 50 Saleens. Could be the biggest gathering of Saleens on the East Coast in quite awhile.

Another event you might be interested in is the SCOA Midwest Saleen Regionals is in Jeffersonville In Aug 10-12, http://www.mustangcards.com/scoa and the next years SCOA Saleen NATIONALS will be in Indiana.

    See ya there....

I'd love to Scott but my daughter is playing in a fastpitch softball tournament all day in Woodstock. If they loss out early enough I'll try and get down there. If they go all the way it could be a long day and night.
Too bad too because just I love driving my car again. This past week we installed new rear HD upper/lower control arms, springs and MM isolaters all the way around. The new stance and ride looks and feels awesome!! All my original parts were SHOT.

Randy, did you straighten out the idle issue yet?

Yep, it seems to be just fine now.
Jeff has it commanded to idle at around 950 on the SCT chip. I thought that it didn't need the manual idle screw on the TB any more so I backed it out so it wouldn't interfere. Bad idea! That caused it to slightly flutter at idle, and sometimes shut off. I tightened the TB screw back up until I felt it firm up and just start to effect idle and then I slightly backed it off.
    PERFECT, problems solved.
I'm not a very smart man, because I'll never figure out how the computer can now regulate the idle without using the throttle body.

I remember talking about the screw and suggesting just that same thing. I'm glad it worked out and all is good now.
