Me VS 02 GT

Alright, so this weekend I may race my friends 02 GT with pulleys, exhaust, and CAI... How will I fare up against this 4.6L?

Is his an auto or 5-speed? To give you an idea, I have raced my buddy's '99 GT with full Bassani exhaust, 3.55 gears, and stock everything else. He dyno'ed at 260 RWHP and 300 RWTQ and has ran a best 1/8 mile of 8.99 @ ~80 MPH. You can see my best 1/8 in my signature, but I will say this: his 5-speed takes advantage of my AODE because my car is stuggish out of the hole, and those 4.6's pull HARD in the higher RPM's. I would say from a dig, you should be compareable (depending on wheel spin), but he is only going to pull away from you after that. Good luck and be safe, take it to the track.

Well it will be a good race he's going to get you up top with u being auto. But is he an auto also?? take some tire pressure out and go at it with him who ever gets the start going to win i am guessing.
