I have an '84 F150 with a 302 and a C6 that I have pulled and would like to drop into an early fox body. I'm looking at the '79-'86 body styles and I'd like to know if I would have any issues putting that motor and tranny into that body style mustang. Also, how difficult would it be if I found a clean LX 4 or 6 cyl car to put it in if I can't find a good LX 5.0 or GT?

Any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated.

Well the 302 is no big deal, but the C6 makes me wonder. Ive never seen one in a fox before. Now C4.. no problem, but those C6's are big heavy trannys. Anything can be made to fit with the right amount of finesse and a good 3 lb hammer tho :D. So go for it man, those C6's will take a hell of a beating, thats my favorite tranny to run in 4x4's.
