Motorcraft Wires

    The guy at the parts place by my house said that there is no difference in the wires for the SVO and the regular '85 four cylinder. Is he right or is he wrong? They were $37. Thanks

    Good question :scratch:...If I had to guess I would say no. But I've also heard it really don't matter what wires you use as long as the rest is MotorCraft. Now I my self want use anything other than MotorCraft if I have a choice in the matter :D

    I wouldn't be suprised if all the motorcraft 2.3 wires are identical...

    So then why do they only last 7,000 miles on turbo cars but 20,000 on n/a cars?

    Because a turbo car puts way more strain on them by trying to force the spark through such dense air...
